BAKING YOUR FACE WITH BABY POWDER?

So I'm sure we are all familiar with the term ''baking your face''? No, it's not putting your face in an oven and baking it like a cake (that's just silly!). It means baking your face with a powder and leaving for 5 mins or so to allow your concealer to set and avoid your make up sliding about your face or potentially disappearing all together.

Now when it comes to buying a powder to bake your face with, the prices range from about £5 to about £50. Now c'mon, who has the money to pay £50 for a face powder you are sweeping away off your face? Exactly, me neither! So what if I told you it would only cost you £1 for the exact same effect? Well......

The newest-ish craze to hit the beauty world is a wonderful thing that we all know.. BABY POWDER! It was definitely one I was going to try. So I wandered into my bathroom and grabbed a bit bottle of baby powder. Now baby powder is quite messy when applying straight from the bottle so what I did was transferred it into a empty pot and dipped my beauty blender into the pot that way (much easier!). And so I went ahead and started baking those areas that tend to crease or simply wear off as the day goes on. I left it on for about 5 minutes while I did the rest of my make up.

Now, what I'm about to tell you will change your life!! Are you ready?!

... IT WORKED!!!!

My makeup lasted all day! It did not crease! It was lovely and soft and didn't clump up!

So, maybe think twice before spending around £50 (but that's entirely up to you if you wish to do so).
