Benefit The PORE-fessional Agent Zero Shine
The Benefit The POREfessional Agent Zero Shine £23.50 is
described as being a shine vanishing pro powder, with an invisible
finish which helps to shrink the look of pores and minimise shine. Agent
Zero Shine was released as part of the POREfessional range to join the
POREfessional Pro Primer, and now there’s another new member; the POREfessional License to Blot.
The Benefit The POREfessional Agent Zero Shine was recently announced
as the number one selling powder within the UK and it’s even won an
award so it must be doing something right..
The Benefit
The POREfessional Agent Zero Shine has amazing packaging.. it’s
packaged within a cone like tube which houses the powder in one end, and
and a retractable brush within the bottom. The packaging makes it so
handy for carrying in your handbag for on the go touch-up’s – it’s so
fuss free and easy to use. The powder is contained within the tube
securely, and you simply twist the top to open the vents and tip some
powder into the lid, and then twist up the brush in the bottom to dip
into the powder you’ve tipped into the lid and then apply it straight to
your face. I love that you don’t need to carry around a separate brush
as everything you need is contained within this little tube which is
just genius. You don’t even need a mirror to apply the powder as it
really is invisible so you don’t have to worry about it looking patchy
or cakey on the skin. In all honesty, I think £23.50 is a lot of money
considering it only contains 7 grams of powder and I’m guessing the high
price tag is down to the gimmicky packaging, so if you do decide to
splurge and make a purchase, I’d recommend scouring a voucher codes
website first to see if there are any voucher codes flying about for a
retailer which sells Benefit, before buying it because even though I really like
it, I’m not entirely sure it’s worth the £23.50 price tag. Although you
do only need a small amount per application, so I’m hoping it’ll last
me for a good few months.
The
packaging is quite gimmicky, but it totally works and it’s nice and
compact for you makeup bag and as it’s a loose powder, you don’t have to
worry about damaging it whilst carrying it around in your bag. It does a
great job at mattifying shine, but it doesn’t keep my shine at bay all
day so you’ll probably need to touch up if you have oily skin but it’s
really lightweight so even with multiple applications, it’s not
detectable on the skin. Not only does this powder add shine, it does
keep my makeup in place for longer too. I can’t honestly say I’ve
noticed that the powder does anything to my pores like it claims to do,
but I’m more than happy with its mattifying properties and its ability
to prolong my makeup.
