Over
the past few days, the weather has definitely started to turn colder
and it's at this time of year that I have to pay some extra TLC to my
skin. Cetraben are a brand that I know I can always turn to when my skin becomes dry, dehydrated or more prone to eczema, and this Make-up Masterclass tutorial for people who suffer from eczema or dry skin is a real gem! Their Cetraben Emollient Cream
with a pump, is a staple of mine, and i'm never without a bottle beside
my bed and I find it works wonders at tackling any dry areas I may
have.
Other products that I find crucial to maintaining nourished and healthy skin when it is prone to dryness or eczema are products such as the Antipodes Rejoice Light Facial Day Cream. I love how hydrating this day cream is and the fact that 100% of the ingredients are natural makes me think that this helps dry or damaged skin even more at retaining and gaining moisture. The Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream (review here) is a great base as the gel cream formula is so light and refreshing on the skin and you know it is letting your skin breathe whilst allowing it some level of coverage and moisture, which is essential for this time of year. I find that most mineral products are great for dry or eczema prone skin. It can be hard to find a concealer for dry skin that won't irritate the skin further or cling to dry patches, and I find that the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer is perfect for brightening up dry and dull skin, whilst adding enough coverage that doesn't cling to dry areas. I primarily use this under my eyes, which is an area that I can find prone to eczema, and find it works really well with my skin. And if you find your lips are affected, as I often find they are, alongside my skin, the Blistex Relief Cream works wonders, as does the Dr PawPaw Original balm. As well as lips, the balm works wonders on other dry areas and is often handy to carry around in my bag for when I need instant moisture or relief.
